Ballon d’Or Winner: Lionel Messi


There was really no contest was there? A record breaking year, over 90 goals in a single 12 month period, and surely one of, if not the, most gifted player to ever grace the green turf. Last night he did it again, yes Lionel Messi picked up his fourth Ballon d’Or, the most converted prize for the individual football player. Voted for my players, managers and football journalists, Messi picked up a staggering 40% of the votes.
