There is a change for this season from Base London, they have released more shoes than your average, with a good mix of classic designs refreshed and new modern takes. Lighter uppers are the order of the day with suede featuring heavily as well as earthy tones. Colourways include the classic browns, but also a good mix of navy, grey, taupe, sand and the slightly brighter blues and reds.

We have chosen our favourite pieces, and have mainly concentrated on the more casual wares with slightly more detail such as the Cigar shoe, a smarter deck shoe with tassels and a kiltie tongue for a little continental flair. Dillon is possibly the one that will be going straight on our shoe rack, a near plimsoll silhouette with a more traditional suede upper. Boots will still play a big part in our summer wardrobe on those slightly cooler days, and the new Branch with sharp lines is a lovely lightweight mens boot.

Check out the a selection of our favourites from the Base London Shoes 2013 Collection below and head over to Base London Online to view the rest.
