A far cry from the Jamaican home-made bobsled in Cool Runnings, the new BMW USA Bobsled is something else. BMW announced last year it would be bringing it’s expertise to the USA Bobsled & Skeleton Federation (USBSF) ready for the 2014 Winter Olympics, and this is the very first working prototype, the BMW 2 Man Bobsled.

Made from a carbon fiber construction straight out of the German manufacturers ‘i’ division, the new sled is lower to ground, lighter and more aerodynamic that anything else in the sport. Rumour is that it is one track as we speaking in testing, and will continued to be played with in the coming months.
