Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty

In a new bold move, Vauxhall has announced that all new cars it sells from August 1st 2010 will come with a lifetime warranty.

The Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty covers all models in it’s line-up and applies to the first owner for the lifetime of ownership, or up to 100,000 miles. The move follows the Kia 7 year warranty which has established them as a major player in the UK.

Warranty covers all major parts including the powertrain, steering system, brake system and electrical equipment. You will also get a free annual inspection which you must keep up-to-date to qualify.

Now I know Vauxhall don’t have the most impressive line up of fast, luxurious cars, but with the Corsa, Astra and Insignia VXR models, and the VXR8, you might just find something…

Twitter lets people post short 140-character messages (micro blog, if you will); people often subscribe to follow the stream of these tweets from acquaintances and, increasingly, companies and celebrities. Twitter has experienced tremendous growth over the past 12 months and is one of the fastest growing websites and networks worldwide.

Google’s has been trying to break into social networking for some time, but one of Twitters other strengths seems to be it’s search capabilities, which includes searches in real time, by real people. Facebook, which attempted to purchase Twitter in 2008, is the example of how social networking can be used if used right. Although it does struggle with it’s adverts and revenue, with Googles expertise Twitter could overcome that.
