Contrary to belief it seems Google do have a sense of humour. Google, that company that seem to be trying to take over every aspect your life, have often shown in the past that they have something of a sense of humour – debatably more than their Apple counterparts, who have only really begun to show theirs with the interesting responses Siri gives to specific questions.

A lot of people are aware of the little amusement Google can bring to your every day search, but surprisingly more people are not, and very few know a comprehensive list. This is why we’ve pulled together out list of Google’s top 15 Easter Eggs – the hidden little surprises that can be uncovered. The majority of these require you to turn Google instant off and use ‘I’m feeling lucky’ as a search option, just so you’re aware.

So over the past few weeks we have followed the unfunny version of me, Jamie Howard, on his quest to become Gonzo Fit. Not just any fit, but being put through his paces in some of the most gruelling fitness regimes known to man. First up Jamie had to train with none other than UFC superstar Urijah Faber. After that it was back to the UK to train with the Elite Forces and finally he heads back over the the US of A to train with the one and only Michael Jai White. One of the most well know and respected movie action stars of all time.

Michael Jai White has worked on some of the biggest films and with beaten up some of the biggest Hollywood superstars ever. Including the Dark Knight, Exit Wounds, On Deadly Ground and Saved by the Bell (not even joking!). Jamie heads to aptly named Muscle Beach in LA and the famous 87eleven stunt gym where Michael Jai White’s is based. They go through fight scenes, and the best way to punch, kick and throw your way out of trouble.

As always there is humour a plenty, though we are not sure just how much Michael appreciated Jamie’s feminine ways. Take a look on the below!

To be perfectly honest, I was unsure whether we should put these up or not… In the past we covered the troubled Ryan Giggs, and tip-toed very close to the line with Michael Jackson jokes. However, throwing caution to the wind, we have decided to share these with you. Not through any lack of respect, we with sympathise entirely with those affected. The inaugural KETTLE® Ridge Crisps Dodgem Derby took place on Saturday 26 March and saw 6 competition winners take to the roads against AJB and ex Stig Ben Collins. The rally took place from Wallop to London in 4 custom made dodgems and featured 4 challenges along the way to determine the overall winner. We started at Thurxton Race Track where page 3 model and ‘Wallop Girl’ @AmiiGrove got us under starting orders and sent us on the way to the short drive to the sleepy village of Wallop. We then set about putting some extra Wallop into Britain with a quick photo shoot before heading on to our first challenge.

The first pit stop challenge was at Micheldever Tyre & Auto Services. Each team had to remove and replace one wheel to strict judging guidelines. Team Flamed Steak, Ben Collins and AJB Joe, set the bar too high for the other teams with an F1 like 45 seconds to win by over a minute and take the prize. Teams Salt & Malt Vinegar and Cheese & Onion finished 2nd and 3rd respectively and Spicy Chilli were disqualified for ‘incorrect’ fitting.

P.S. we didn’t just make up these random team names, they are all flavours of Ridge Crisps!

After a quick chat with the local fuzz we were back on the road, well 3 of us were…
Unfortunately the girls in Team Salt & Malt Vinegar managed to break their dodgem mid route! However we did all make it (albeit on a trailer) to challenge number two and playing cricket against the England team! OK not quite the England team, but a group of kids from Basingstoke Sports & Social club. Each team had a 4 ball over and a chance of 4 bonus points for mashing some spuds. Again AJB and Ben came out on top with 5 runs (4 from ahem, yours truly) and the 4 bonus points. We then had a few moments over lunch to watch the actual England get smashed by Sri Lanka before all 4 dodgems were back on the road (and under their own steam!)

An hour long drive doing 55 in a dodgem on a motorway and we finally reached Campaign Paintball for our third challenge. Drive-by paintballing was first on the list, with teams taking aim at a Purple Stig (thanks Tim!). 3 teams managed to get 2 bonus points for direct hits before we headed into the forest for warfare. Good teamwork and flanking saw Team Flame Steak (yes, us) escape un-harmed and picking up full points again. Others however, were not so lucky with nurses Claire and Rebecca having to come to the rescue of others.

The final drive, and detour, and getting lost, saw us eventually arrive at Daytona Motorsport Sandown Park where we swapped our dodgems for go-karts, some of the quickest go-karts in Europe (seriously quick!). With fairness in mind, Ben was handicapped in a standard twin engine kart, which was about 6 seconds a lap slower than ours. Now I know what you are thinking, Ben won? Another AJB Flamed Steak win? Afraid not…
With less than half a second separating the top 4 drivers, team Spicy Chilli took the 1 – 2 with Adam and Carl, Ben came in third and I came in a disappointing fourth. A quick chat with Hugh Grant (yeah that one but no Ms Brown present, I don’t think) and we were on the road for our final leg to London.

It was dark and wet, but we eventually made it to Battersea Park in London, albeit with a few diversions (we really needed Sat Nav!), the scores were counted and Team Flamed Steak, AJB and Ben took the spoils with a near perfect 44 points, Sarah and Claire, Team Salt & Malt Vinegar finished second and both Team Cheese & Onion (Chris & Ian) and Team Spicy Chilli (Adam & Carl) came joint third. Being the suckers we are here at AJB for any girl in uniform (even a racing one) we didn’t feel it fair for us to take home the dodgem, so well done to Claire and Sarah who get to keep their wacky mobile!

In total we clocked up a total of over 300 miles, 8 helmets, 7 pit stops, 6 competition winners, 5 mechanics, 4 dodgems, 3 counties, 2 race circuits, 1 sack of potatoes, 1 Glamour Girl, 1 ex Stig, a lifetime’s supply of crisps and an amazing blog!
