The Apple iPad as held by Steve Jobs

OK so amongst all the rumours it seems there is no smoke without Fire. A little while ago Apple announced the launch of the iPad, I mean tablet, I mean iPad!

In terms of details, what we know so far is it is a little over a centimetre thick, and weighs in a little over 1 and a half pounds. As standard it comes with a 9.7-inch touchscreen IPS LCD display, and is powered … Continue Reading

Dyson Fan – The Air Multiplier

Dyson Fan, the Air Multiplier

Dyson Fan, the Air Multiplier

Probably the coolest fan I have ever seen, yes it may also be the most expensive, but did I mention this is probably the coolest fan I have ever seen!?!

First we had the vacuum cleaners, which made Simon Dyson a household name, and one of the worlds most famed inventors. Next they delivered us a hand dryer, which in my eyes is still the best, and most fun hand drying experience I … Continue Reading

Well Adobe has just announced that a full version of flash will be hitting mobile devices soon. Starting with Windows Mobile and Palm Pre, then Symbian and Android and closely followed by Blackberry. iPhone on Vodafone UK

Good news! After yesterdays announcement that Orange will be selling the iPhone from late 2009, it is now Vodafone’s turn to get in on the act.

The deal, announced this morning comes after O2’s exclusive deal with Apple ended, fueling speculation of more widespread availability of the iPhone in the UK. Vodafone hope to be offering the iPhone early in 2010 and have announced you can already register your interest on their website (although we cannot find that link at the time of writing).

Vodafone believe that not having access to the Apple iPhone was a key reason why the operator … Continue Reading

Water Powered Jet Pack

Ha, check this shit out! Well it is Summer (judging by the rain at my window!) and no doubt many of us will be hitting the watersports (not that kind!) over the holidays.

The JetLev- Fly Water Jet Pack is watersports with a difference, an engine sits on the top of the water and pumps water up through the 10 metre hose and into the jet pack. This then spurts out water in 2 streams and can reach an altitude of 10 metres and a top speed of 30mph, the thing will apparently carry on going for 200 miles before needing a refuel.

Amazingly this thing is in production, but you might choke on the £160 K price tag! Check out the video after the break. Continue Reading
