Spartacus led the gladiators of the ludus owned by the House of Batiatus, in a revolt against their masters. This followed a series of traumatic events whereby Spartacus fights his way to the top of the gladiatorial food-chain and finds out that his beloved wife is enslaved and subsequently murdered, a plot concocted by his owner – Batiatus. Its also worth knowing that, in the prequel series, Gannicus was the champion who won his freedom through combat, and will be making a return to the fore.

If you’re a fan of the show you won’t need much convincing to tune in for yet another series of blood, guts and nudity. And of course featuring the following lovelies.

So the group stages are over and we are all sat twiddling our thumbs waiting for the knockout stages which start this weekend. Now our in-house expert was a touch controversial saying both Ireland and Wales would be on the plane home by now. We are pleased to report they aren’t and in-fact shall be battling it out on Saturday morning in probably the match of the Quarter Finals.

Well to help you along for a few more days, we have stumbled across this little gem from Lynx. Now we aren’t the biggest fan of Lynx, or Axe as it is known in other areas of the world, bought as birthday and Christmas presents from far-away Aunties for every year for the last 20 does that to man. BUT, credit where credit is due. They are coming out with some proper corking videos recently, and this one is no different.

Showing the rules of game might sound a bit boring, but showing the rules of the game using hot women in lycra vest and knickers? It’s kind of a mid-week win!

Frisky Friday, or #FriskyFriday by it’s true name, is the latest twitter hashtag that just keeps on coming back every week. Originally started by former playboy model Shera Bechard, it is a whole new (and more interesting) take on the usual, mundane, and dying #FF fun!

We have actually been chatting with no other than Playboy in the past few weeks, with the kings of hot women across the globe giving us all the details into what #FriskyFriday is all about. Basically a female (though I guess nothing is stopping a male..!) will post a picture of herself in a ‘frisky’ pose on twitter, hopefully with the hashtag #FriskyFriday so we can all follow it! Some people don’t do it properly and show a ‘professional’ shot, but trust us, it’s all about the self shot and phone combo!

This has since gone to the next level, with the (un-surprising) creation of a couple of websites which basically ‘track’ tweets and the amount of re-tweets before putting the girls and their picture in order of the most popular. These websites are completely independent of Shera and Playboy and to be honest, none of them are that great! So just tweet us instead!.

It’s all a bit of fun, and overall a pretty cool idea. It does get abused a bit, careful what you click on!

We heard about this recently, and now its landed… Daisy Lowe’s Playboy cover page.

This 22 year old British model has shot to fame over the last 3-4 years. She is the daughter of Pearle Lowe, the singer songwriter & designer, and Gavin Rossdale of Bush fame. There is a certain look about her that is reminiscent of a younger Shannen Doherty, but with a bit more of a girl-next-door innocence to her. Sadly this young beauty isn’t single, and is in fact dating the TV star of BBC’s Doctor Who, Matt Smith (well the guy needs some luck, after appearing in one of the most over-rated TV shows of all time – Joe)…

One of our favourite girls, young, miss Rosie Jones is appearing in the latest Pepsi Max advert. Now a definite improvement over the 3 American guys, one of the most popular girls ever to appear on AJB has obviously caught the attention of the soft drink giant. She appears clad in tight clothes and even ‘mounts’ a monster truck making three geeks the luckiest guys on earth.

To be honest we were beginning to like the US based Pepsi Max adverts where the guys done crazy stuff to get a job, or the afternoon off. Let’s hope this series grows in the same way and we see Rosie in more adverts in the future. The adverts are a great excuse to see Rosie while she appears in the ad breaks of Corrie and your missus can’t say a thing. Just try not to sneak off to look at our pics of Rosie Jones as well!
