Rugby Six Nations Preview 2010

Well Christmas is now over, and while you are progressing with your new years resolution of losing the mince pie & beer weight (Or breaking them within a day as I did!) February has come round like a shot. Which means only one thing in the world of Rugby Union, the 6Nations is back. Early this morning, Mercedes GP unveiled their new F1 car for the 2010 season. The relatively small launch in Valencia, by none other than Michael Schumacher and this seasons team-mate Nico Rosberg marked the start of official testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo this morning.

Finally the Premier League is back! The internationals gave England a pointless trip to Qatar and Ireland were robbed after outplaying the French and Thierry Henry has single handily caused debate all over the football world. We’re not angry, just disappointed!

WOW, a very quick post for this sick sick trick. Two kite surfers (Jake Scrace, 25, and Lewis Crathern, 24) realised a 3 year old dream this week when they jumped 40 feet over Worthing Pier in West Sussex.

England Match to be Internet Only

Well it seems the Setanta fall-out continues. It has now been confirmed that England’s next World Cup qualifier in Ukraine, this coming Saturday will be shown exclusively live on the internet who will have to pay for the privilege.

This is the first time an England match has not been available on television. Originally Setanta held the rights in the UK but after it’s demise a few months ago, none of the major stations were willing to pay the amount asked by Kentaro in the Ukraine. And digital sport firm, Perform bought the rights to stream the match online.
