Not to be out done by his brother Liam, Noel Gallagher has taken a gentle step into the world of Fashion. Not quite to the extent of building his own fashion brand, but to celebrate (plug) the launch of his very first solo album, Noel has teamed up with no other than Adidas to launch a limited edition pair of Originals Training 72 Trainers.
Since the split of Oasis between V Festival gigs last year (I was on the unlucky half!) both brothers have been flitting from project to project trying to amass even more money than the other. Given his song writing capabilities, we assume Noel is winning and his solo album, ‘High Flying Birds’, will do his vast fortunes no harm when it is released on Monday, October 17th.
But taking it to the next level, and never one to miss an opportunity, the Gallagher has taken his love of adidas and designed his own shoe with the firm. Using the Originals Training 72 as base, the white trainers have the trademark three stripes in royal blue, a dark gum sole and a gold branded name and face the the shoes tongue.
Only 200 pairs will be produced, and will be sold on Saturday October 22 (for we are sure only a few minutes) at No6 in London and No74 in Berlin. Check out the images below.
