The new Pure Evoke F4 offers the user more than just a pleasant contemporary kitchen radio, it also offers more music connectivity than ever before. As well as a near standard DAB, internet & FM radio, you will find the ability to stream music from your mobile device, PC or Mac, over both Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, and then have the possibility to beam your music around the house via the devices ‘Jongo’ wireless speaker system. With regards to streaming, the radio is compatible with Pure’s own streaming platform delivering music by subscription, a service akin to that of Spotify.
The Evoke offers the listener the facility to record radio shows to listen to at a later date, which can be done on-the-go or pre organised as you would with TV on Sky+. The shows are recorded to USB memory stick, to be played at the users leisure.
The Pure Evoke F4 retails for £180, and if it just opened its options a little to include other music services and connections, it would be a kitchen gadget must have.
