Interestingly Jason Calacanis (@Jason) has broke today he has been a beta Apple Tablet tester. And before you laugh this off, the guy is the founder of some off the biggest tech stuff out there including Weblogs, TechCrunch50 and Engadget. Although he hasn’t put up any pic’s he is reporting;

  • Two sizes. one about double the size of an iPhone and one is 20% smaller than a Macbook air
  • Wireless charging using optional base station
  • Facial Recognition (really?!)
  • Multiple tablet connections via Wi-Fi
  • Nitendo Wii innovation for games

Adobe Photoshop coming to the iPhone

Coming to the app store near you, expect a lite version of Adobe’s Photoshop for the iPhone. The world famous leaders in imagery software are releasing photoshop.com, which as well as a version of Photoshop for iPhone it also included 2GB of online storage for your photos etc.

The app will include sketch outlines, a variety of blur effects, B&W conversion, brightening options and simple cropping and mirroring tools amongst others.

Just hitting the App Store in the US and expect it in the UK very soon!

Spotify Coming to the iPhone

Spotify, the free streaming music service is Europe is due to come to the iPhone this week as a mobile application.

The Swedish based firm has submitted the app to Apple’s iTunes App Store and is waiting for approval which should be this week. Although details are sketchy at present, it is anticipated users will be able to download songs and playlists to their iPhones to listen on the go. New Apple iPod shuffle in 4GB

Well the rumours were true. After the Apple website was down this morning amongst rumours of a new released of the shuffle, out it comes.

The new 4 GB Shuffle is as small and sleek as you would expect and it includes new VoiceOver which with the press of a button, VoiceOver tells you what song is playing and who’s performing it. it will also tell you the name of the playlists too. No UK release date, but hitting the US at $80.

Apple appstore rejects Twitter app over it's content… – Oh no it doesn't

Turns out the app store has had a change of heart and now accepted tweetie 1.3. Oh well nice free media coverage there!!

Great article over at Engadget about Apple’s Appstore failure again in rejecting the latest version of tweetie, Why? Because apparantly offensive language can be seen if you search for it or if another user types it!!!
Crazy, surely email, SMS, camera and the net should all be banned?!? Random.

Especially with the news of a appstore alternative from Cydia on the horizon.

Now you can’t believe everything you hear, but many rumours have been flying around the last few days about Apple releasing a touch-screen notebook in quarter 3 this year. It started with the Commercial Times and DigiTimes and I picked it up off Engadget.
Apparently, Wintek will supply touch-panels to Quanta computer who’ll be tasked with assembling Apple’s netbook. Get all that? Obviously any updates will be posted here ASAP!
